MICROMONDI è un’opera che nasce dall’osservazione della vita quotidiana e si trasforma in un viaggio onirico attraverso paesaggi mentali e simbolici. Ognuno di noi vive una realtà diversa, fatta di abitudini, relazioni, impegni e cultura: elementi che, intrecciandosi, costruiscono una visione del mondo unica. Questa visione personale e irripetibile dà forma a quello che l’artista chiama il micromondo.
Rappresenta un’esplorazione intima, una mappa dell’anima. Le città illustrate sembrano deserte, ma sono in realtà abitate da simboli silenziosi e percorsi emotivi. Scale che salgono e scendono evocano il viaggio della vita, con i suoi inevitabili alti e bassi. L’osservatore si muove con lo sguardo e con la mente, attraversando palazzi, obelischi, piramidi, fari, occhi e pontili che si fondono in strutture surreali, dense di significato.
Il disegno, eseguito interamente a marker, nasce senza uno schema predefinito, lasciando spazio all’istinto e all’immaginazione. Gli elementi aggiungono livelli narrativi e materiali all’opera stessa, come fossero frammenti di ricordi, culture e luoghi.
Non è solo un’opera visiva, ma un invito alla riflessione: chi osserva è chiamato a riconoscere il proprio mondo interiore, a perdersi e ritrovarsi nei dettagli, nei simboli, nei vuoti e nei pieni di una città che è insieme reale e immaginaria.
Un luogo mentale dove la materia del quotidiano si trasforma in visione.
A Visual Journey Through Dream, Memory, and Reality
MICROMONDI is a work born from the observation of everyday life, transformed into a dreamlike journey through mental and symbolic landscapes. Each of us lives a reality different from all others—shaped by habits, relationships, commitments, and culture. These elements intertwine to create a unique vision of existence, forming what the artist calls the microworld.
It represents an intimate exploration, a map of the soul. The illustrated cities appear deserted, but are actually inhabited by silent symbols and emotional pathways. Stairs that rise and descend evoke the journey of life, with its inevitable ups and downs. The viewer moves with both eye and mind, traversing palaces, obelisks, pyramids, lighthouses, eyes, and piers that merge into surreal structures, rich with meaning.
The drawing, created entirely with markers, emerges without a predefined plan, allowing instinct and imagination to lead the way. The elements used such as recovered maps, comics, banknotes, and postcards add narrative and material layers to the work, as if they were fragments of memories, cultures, and places.
This is not merely a visual artwork, but an invitation to reflect: the viewer is called to recognize their own inner world, to lose and find themselves in the details, the symbols, the voids and fullness of a city that is both real and imaginary.
A mental space where the matter of the everyday transforms into vision.
